Loader for Jinma 254

Ron, is your exhaust stock? Did it need to be modifyed for the loader? My exhaust goes straight up.

No it is not stock. No modifications are required to the tractor to bolt on the loader...
Those pictures were actually from the exhaust modifications I did to it, but they showed the loader details pretty well. It too originally went straight up. I got tired of bending it on trees, so I modified it down to the front to keep this from happening while busting brush.

Looks prettymuch like mine.

You could E-mail those pics to coldwater, and Henry(probably who you will be talking to, nice guy) can tell you for sure...

I'm still looking into getting a loader for my Jinma 254. I measured the mounting holes and sent the specs to Coldwater, they said they were different than the 284 that they had built one for. I would like to confirm I measured right. Can anyone send pictures and measurements of there Jinmas with loaders? I can still get a Coldwater loader kit that I would have to finish welding. Which is no problem, but if I don't have to do the extra work that would be even better.

Human nature being what it is, you are more than likely to get more accurate and valid responses if you make it easy for the other person. May I suggest: Post pictures of where you took your measurements and what they were. That way other people can instantly mentally compare their unit to yours and respond accordingly. I'm sure if you do some of the work other members will meet you more than half way. :thumbsup:

You have the LE type tractor with the recessed battery box, this is the new style and should be the same as the current tractors coldwater imports.Did you send him pic's of your tractor ?

I'm not sure what you measured,but there are 2-types Old style with clamshell hood, and the new LE type with the flip up hood.The rear brackets are the same on both ,the front brackets are a little different on the 2-models

The tag on my Jinma 254 says it's a 2006/07. The hood flips up from the front. The battery is recessed in the front. I will post somemore pictures of where I made the measurements.

Finally ordered a Coldwater loader for my Jinma 254. It should be here Thursday! The guys at Coldwater have been great to deal with.
