Loader Leaks Down

   / Loader Leaks Down #31
Hi JJ, Yes, the bucket is pulling down the same amount whether loaded or unloaded. I don't see any difference in the amount of leak down bettween empty vs loaded. I have been on the tractor all morning blading my road,
3/4 mile and all the neigbors so we can start getting out from our one big snow storm every couple years. I do have to raise the FEL bucket up from time to time while running. Seems like I may be just getting used to it. I've caught myself a couple of time rolling it back up. Thats the part of this whole thing I don't want to do. If this is the way its supposed to be then fine, but if its not, then I would like to get it fixed. Its like running out of paint with the old barn 3/4 painted and the just leaving it. Sooner or later you just get used to it and it doesn't bother you any more.

It almost has to be a valve leaking, and you can test this. With the bucket down, disconnect the hose to curl down cyl. With the engine running, and the valves in neutral, there should be no fluid coming out the hoses. Have the hoses above the level of the valve. Do the same for the lift cylinders. No fluid should be coming out the hose, in neutral. It might get messy, have a container close by.
