Does anybody know if there is anyplace besides John Deere to get this kit or just the valve.
My dealer wants over $400 for it.
The JD # is LVB25823

What valve do they use?? I can make up the hoses and get the couplings locally.

I did do a search but came up with nothing.

In general, Deere's prices for hydraulics kits are pretty much on par with what people can get from third parties and doing it yourself, for my money potentially saving <10% isn't worth the effort or giving up clean installation brackets. I added a Prince-based dual SCV setup from Northern Tool prior to the introduction of the diverter kit, but it cost a fair bit more than $400 IIRC. You can also try the Surplus Center, they seem to crop up a lot as a source for cheap hydro components.

This is a new kit from JD, so I have not seen it yet-But what I do know is that it is a manual diverter that is installed under the seat somewhere. So to use it, you pull up a knob or lever and the valve "diverts" fluid from the curl circuit to the MMM lift. It saves you from have to unhook hoses.

While the $400 may seem steep, it is probably a fair price. JD's kits are very complete with hard lines, brackets, hardware, fittings, ect. And they always look like belong there instead of added on.

If you want independent control of the MMM, I would suggest putting the money toward a new set of valves like jdbower mentioned. This would allow you to control two different hydraulic circuits.

I added it to my tractor, so did jdbower and quite a few others here, you can either search for the posts or I can direct you to them if you are interested...

Here's my installation experience. It was a great way for me to learn about hydraulics, the education factor can't be discounted. Were I to do it over again I don't know that I'd go this route, the diverter kit is probably much nicer looking and I rarely need to use both the loader controls and the two new SCVs at the same time. Still, glad it's there and it's nice to be able to do something myself. All I need is welding equipment to fabricate a proper bracket.
