Loader okay but bucket not tipping

Hi - new to this game and also new and inexperienced with tractors. Run a small livery yard in East Yorkshire, England. Shift a few tons of horse sh#t a week as you can imagine and have just bought a Ford 7610, last week, to do the job.
Took x2 hoses out which work the bucket and fitted trailer hydraulic pipe, for 1st time yesterday. Tipped muck no problem. Re-fitted x2 hoses but now have problem with bucket. The loader lifts and drops no problem but the bucket wont tip now. I noticed that the hydraulic oil was v low, topped it up and waited for it to run through but didnt make a difference.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing the problem? Speak to me like I am a complete dummy! I wont be offended.

They are two different functions if you have a joystick control then forward and back control up and down on loader sideways movement controls curl or dump function guessing I would say you don't have curl function plumed properly low oil level needs to fixed but shouldn't cause curl not to work if using quick disconnect on hoses make sure they are connected properly if this is of no help more info please.

If using quick connect I had same problem on my Kabota 2370.On advice from others I disconnected the quick connects and relieved pressure by using a chopstick to press on the inside of each connection. Point away from yourself if you do this. Then reconnect. In my case residual pressure was stopping one of the lines from connecting completely and it was not readily apparent.
