I am mounting a Great Bend / Bush Hog mid mount loader on my TA 270. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll post some pictures and what had to be done to make a Massey 1250 mount fit up. It can be done ,but requires some cutting and fitting.

Here goes. I am about 1/2 way installed. This is the most important " cool" part.

This is the first step. Remove the Iseki body mount .

These are the Iseki and Massey mounts. I have added a lip for the sheet metal of the body to set on. Massey has bolts backwelded to attach to. I made a plate with the nuts attached to make it possible to use the holes in the body. I couldn't get a wrench in to hold them.

This is the mount with the alterations made. I cut a slot for the oil cap and cut and lowered the front ear.

The block had to be cut off and the ear cut off. The ear was then welded back on an 1" lower and the holes had to be opened up to match the frame holes. Almost all the holes had to be opened some to fit. I had to mount it up using what holes would fit and them mark the out of line holes. I pulled the mount off and corrected the holes and welded the front ear back.

This is the mid mount on the tractor. The spacing is critical. There is a bar that goes between the mounts under the belly. If it will fit the loader will.

Reed,

Excellent fabrication, alteration and tutorial. I did not respond until now, as I thought more pictures were following....Now I feel I may have waited too long.

If I did not have the Yanmars, Iseki would be my next choice.

Regards, Mark

I just got ot on and working today. It is slow going, making sure all the attachment points fit while maintaining the alighnment. No matter what you do ,it has to be square and exactly the right distance between centers or it just won't fit when you try to put the loader on the carriers. I have to work on it before work, when I get home I just don't have anything left. I haven't forgotten this, I'll followup.I will post some more pictures soon. I am going to do some more finish work first. I found some repair hose ends so I can shorten up the universal hoses that came with it. So far I think it is a very well built loader and I like the midmount system now that the worst is over.
