Does anyone with a loader on either a TC21 or TC18 have any difficulties with the position of the joystick? I have test drove the TC21D but without the loader and am wondering if the position of the joystick on loader instead of the fender is a problem or a plus.

Thank you for your input in advance

I recently traded my TC21D for a TC29D and, although I now prefer the fender-mount vs. the load-arm mount, I never had any operational difficulties with the position on the TC21D. It is more convenient on the fender, but also impedes exit from the tractor on the joystick side (fender mount).

I don't feel it is a problem and seems very easy to use. I have only 65 hours and this is my first compact. I liked the layout of controls on the TC 21D. I guess thats why I bought it.

For me the TC21d joystick is nice. I worked in a warehouse at one time, where I ran forklift. The setup was similar to the joystick on the TC21. I can't say how fender mount works, but I ran my tractor for about 10hrs so far, and I'm getting pretty used to the loader operation.
