I am considering a TC40 or a TC45. My main reason for upgrading from my current 27 HP tractor is to get more loader lift capacity. I have noticed the loaders are rated at a certain capacity irrespective of tractor horspower.

So am I correct if I get a TC40 I'll have the same loader ability as if I got the TC45?

I think they use the same loader......so you'd get the same lift capacity

The TC40 & TC45 are essentially the same machine except for HP & a small difference in overall weight. The same holds true for FEL....both use the 16LA model which has a lift capacity of 2,000 lbs at the pivot pins.

Yes. The TC40 and TC45 both have the same lift capacity for the 16LA FEL and also the same at the 3PH. The TC35 is the same class tractor and also uses the 16LA FEL, but the hydraulic pressure is reduced so that the loader does not have as much lift as it's "big brothers."
