The loader hydraulic pump on my B6000 is on its last legs. It's noisy even when outside temps are warm. This time of year it howls like a banshee and barely even moves the loader. I doubt that the original pump is still available from Kubota, but since it's a simple belt driven unit, I should be able to find something generic that should do the job. Problem is I don't have the manual for the loader and have been unable to determine the specs on the pump. First of all, can anyone out there tell me the model number of the FEL that Kubota supplied for the B6000? Secondly, any suggestions as to where to find a replacement pump? I'm fixing the tractor up to sell/trade in next spring, so I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on this, but I do need to replace it. Suggestions gratefully received.
I have a B6100 with a loader so we may have the same pump. My pump is on the front of the tractor and is driven by a shaft off (I think) the front PTO. I don't see any belt associated with it. It looks like a VERY simple pump. My loader is a Kubota Model B219. I have a manual on order and will be able to fill you in on the details as soon as it comes in.
My loader squeels like a banshee too until it is warmed up. I thought of draining it, cleaning the filter, checking the relief valve and re-filling it but am waiting for the manual before tackling the job since there is no drain plug, filter or relief valve that I can find. In fact, the hydraulic fluid reservoir is the right-side vertical frame member for the FEL.
The model number plate is on the inside of the left-side vertical frame member.
Ron:
The manual for my loader just came in today. It is for a Kubota Series 25 Loader model B219. This model is specifically for the B6100 and 7100 but it is around the same age as a B6000.
The pump is Kubota part number 70050-01405
It's rated flow is 6 GPM at 2700 RPM relief valve pressure is set at 800 PSI on the loader valve.
