I just got a Kubota L2650 with a Kubota loader yet I do not know how to take the loader off. It is a quick release loader and has two different looking arms that connect some place to support it while it is off.
Two of them are stored across the hood by the steering wheel and have pins in them. It looks like these also are braces when it on the tractor. The other two are clipped to the left side arm of the loader. Where do you attach them to disconnect the loader. Is there anyplace I can go to get an instruction book? Thanks for the help.

Did you not get a book for the loader when you bought the tractor? that should explain how to remove and install?

On my JD it is much more feasible to remove the bucket and leave the arms and hydraulics in place. Just a thought.

On my NH you can drop off the bucket or you can completely remove the loader.
Removing the bucket or other attachment is trivial, but the whole loader is a little tricky until you get the hang of it.

I like to remove the loader for brush cutting on steep hills or for general farm work because it improves visibility.

While I am sure your setup comes off different than mine....two tips that may help are:
1) on mine you must have the dirt bucket on to remover the loader.
2) Do not even think about taking it off on unlevel ground. I take mine off on a flat concrete area only.

The first time I took it off it was about 15 min to get it off and about an hour to get it back on /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Now I can pop it off or back on in about 10-15 min flat.

Sounds like the same set up as my L2250. The arms stored on top in front of the steering wheel go into the slots in the bucket and the other two hold up the ends of the loader arms. As others have said a hard flat surface is a must. Go to your Kubota dealer and get the manual, they are cheap at $25 or so and have lots more important info. Manual also has important safety precautions.
