loader won't lift with different cylinders

Could it jsut be air in the new cylinders?

If you didnt drain the old cylinders, just throwing them back on, would not need blead and that is why they worked.

It takes quite a few cycles to get all the air out.

And like JJ mentinoed, make sure the hoses are routed correctly. If you have one cylinder trying to lift and the other trying to retract, you are in esscence trying to lift with a cylinder that is only the size of your rod. Not to mention the twisting forces:confused2:

And were these cylinders actually new? or a used cylinder you picked up somewhere? New cylinders should NOT need rebuilt right off the bat.

He mentioned that they were from another tractor.

sorry guys, I have been busy working on our house. The cylinders would go in and out with out any load on them but not with a load, thats why I am thinking that the packings are letting fluid by them, I understand that they will be slower but stronger. Also I am running the loader off an seperate pump above the pto. By changing the cylinders back I am able to lift the front end off the ground at an idle.
