Has anyone ever heard of a Brantly Manufacturing Co. makers of Loaders. Are they still in business or did someone take them over? The gentleman said it came off of a 650 JD? Any ideas? Going to look at it on Sunday. Want to put on my 20HP 4x4 Compact.

Thanks

Sorry, I have never heard of Brantly Manufacturing. During that era (1981-1988), many tractor manufacturers did not have their act together with loaders.
Prime example, Deere relied on the Johnson loader for early-model 850 & 950 tractors, not even bothering to label them with Deere decals or even paint them green.
By the late 1980's, many loader manufacturers, like Brantly, dropped their offerings when the tractor manufacturers offered good, strong loaders in easy-to-order packages.
If you enjoy blacksmithing, you could make it work on your tractor. But, remember to spread the stresses of the loader mounts over a large area. Fragile transmission casings can be easily broken and large repair bills can quickly eclipse money saved by blacksmithing an inexpensive loader.
If I were you, I would not do it. You have no parts or service support if you break anything.
