Hasn't anyone come up with an easy way to load the bed of a toolcat with the machine itself? Seems like there should be some way to rig up a hopper which you could fill with the loader and then back under and pull a rope to empty it into the bed.

Something like shown at the link below. No idea what one of these cost.

Catvet,
I am currently looking into buying a 7-14 K dump trailer that I could load my TC onto to take for servicing. The dump trailer could also be loaded by the TC and pulled by either my TC or truck! Talk about multitasking.
The bed of the toolcat is useful, but self loading it is not!

Steve,
I've been thinking about the same thing, but I worry about having to hitch and unhitch the trailer from the Toolcat when loading the trailer and all the cranking of the trailer hitch. I was wondering if anyone makes a dump trailer with two separate axles so that tongue weight isn't an issue and I can just drop the trailer hitch and put it back on the Toolcat after loading the trailer.

Rolando,
There are some ag style trailers (like hay wagons) that do just that. The hitch arm is just for towing the trailer and the trailer axles support all of the weight...something like this http://www.marketfarmequipment.com/Big Dump Wagons & Trailers.htm ! Other options I am considering include, getting an off road truck with a dump bed, or converting my pickup bed into a dump configuration. We'll see which way I go, but I'll keep you posted!
Take Care,
Steve
PS My TC was picked up on Friday for planned maintenance. I will post the specs on that once I get it back.
