Loading Tires? What to for Liquid to use?

I use Rimguard great and very reasonable. Don't know about loading front tires, owners manual says not to weight front tires just assumed that meant loading as well.

I had my dealer install rimguard in mine. The totaql cost was $400 though...not cheap. I probibly could have shopped around, but i really didnt want to go haul the tractor anywheres else to get it installed.

I LOVE the rimguard though. I move my gooseneck trailer (somewheres between 1600-1700 #) tongue weight and the rear end doesnt lose traction. Worth every penny.

The rimguard added 900# of balast weight to the rear end. This DK45 has large tires.

Can anyone comment on changes in performance after loading the tires? Obviously there will be more traction but does it take away from power very much? I have a CK20 and a lot of hills that I climb regularly and need all the power I have...

hmmm, i cant say definitely whether it would affect it or not. However anything that makes for greater tire contact on the ground has to help with performance. Also add to stability on hills. My opinion for whats it worth

It absolutely will require more power to climb a hill with the additional cargo weight. On a CK20 with those tiny tires it might not be enough to notice.

100 gallons of Ballast Star was loaded in my rear tires by my local Kioti dealer for $300. Initially I used the tractor for over a month without loaded tires I glad I finally got them loaded.

Next time I may get a bulk order of Scotch Whisky and load the tires myself. Of course I will need more then 100 gallons to start with since some of the Whisky will not make it into the tires. Plus over time the tires will need to be refilled!

if ya got water and are on a budget.. hard to beat rv antifreeze for price.

non toxic and non corrosive.. and won't freeze solid if mixed correctly

easy to load with a garden hose and a burp valve.
