Dealer Local dealer or travel

Ohio TC18 - You would guess wrong. The deal was he'd come pick it up if it needed major service repairs, no charge. He wanted the sale and was obviously confident that this would not likely come to pass, if it did, he would take the risk. In all liklihood, I would work with him where he would travel it one way and I'd probably be willing to go get it. Even if he wouldn't come get it, I'd make several trips to save the kind of money astor is talking about. I really couldn't care less if the person who answers the phone knows what tractor model I own.

I do!!!

That's what "service after the sale" is all about.

That's also one thing we are loosing in these United States, personalized service. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I wouldn't be so sure about buying out of state to avoid taxes.

I would think that from other TBN member’s post that you should be able to find a dealer in Michigan with a similar deal.

I've been wrong once or twice before. But in my case, I think i made the decision that was right for me.
