I have owned a LockN-Lube for some time now. I would not be without it. There are several threads and opinions about them.

Greasing my tractor always presents challenges - having only two hands is one, difficult to access zerks is another, and making a mess is yet another. I used the lock n lube for the first time yesterday and love it. I hesitated getting it because of the price, but I see that it is going to be worth every penny in the time I will save and the messes I will avoid. I likely spent as much on other grease gun accessories in the past few years trying to find the best way to get er done - and have broken some zerks in the process. I am a very satisfied user.

Hmmm, guess I need to find that search feature! But then I couldn't post about the "How Farms Work" youtube channel, which has been a lot of fun for me lately (farmer wannabe).

Use the "Custom Google Search" box at the top of the page.

Works great. Makes greasing suck a whole lot less.

Were you using it on a pipe or a hose like mine?

I have one on a flex hose grease gun. Its OK for those zerks that require three hands. Otherwise, I use a standard ridged pipe model. And, I'm pretty sure my grease guns were that clean when first purchased. :dance1:

My two grease guns hang nearby most of the time and whenever I have a rag or paper towel drenched in a solvent or a can of brake cleaner I wipe or spray the guns off. When I go to use them they aren't so nasty although some tends to always seep out at the bottom. One wears the Lock'n Lube and one standard jaws. Both of mine are hand operated but I prefer a pistol grip to the long lever as I can one-hand squeeze the gun better. I also own one of those right-angle adapter thingy's that just makes a mess and won't seal off worth a lick.

Yes I got one and added it to my cordless grease gun recently. It's proven to be the grease weapon of choice to address the many zerks on my tractor.
