I might as well put my .02 in. One of the sealing ingredients in Thompson's is Bee's Wax. Everybody knows what wax does when hit by the sun. You will be much better off using another product.

The only good thing about Thompsons is the ad campaign. Sikkens and Cabots make good quality products. My sheds used to be infested with bees. I started wedging a piece of gravel in every hole I found and problem solved.
