2010 GC2610
Had my farms timbered 2 yrs. ago and used my Grizzly 660 to skid logs last yr, took a long time due to limited pulling. This yr I am going to use my GC2610 to pull the tops up to a flat area to process for firewood. My ground is steep in areas, so I need some ideas in which to safely pull the logs up while keeping everything low. I am thinking a 12'-15' chain with 25" tongs to skid.
1...Is there a better way using the GC?
2...What would be the best way to attach to the tractor?
3...Will I have to change the hydro fluid any sooner due to excessive pulling?
