Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. I do machine shop work and have just started building log splitters on the side. My first one is just about done and I will post some pictures soon. It has a hydraulic 4 way splitter with a lift table. Hope I can help others with there splitters with any questions.

Thank You. I noticed that there are a lot of questions on the log lift and what size cylinder to use. I am using a 6 inch cylinder and it works just fine. The secret is where to put the mounting hole on your I beam and where to mount it on the table. It takes a little work to figure this out but I am more then willing to send pictures of mine help any way I can.

Welcome! Looking forward to pics.

A log splitter is something I've been working on in the spare time too, always nice to see other implementations.
