Looks like a great build. I've been debating doing something similar (but need to get a lot better at welding).
That green part might be a problem on my trails and the others in my area: It's hilly enough that many of the trails have waterbars or broad-based dips in them to help prevent erosion. Most of the water bars are deep enough that I can barely get a trailer through them now. I'd likely be dragging that green support when the trailer rode down into a waterbar. I'm guessing it would make it through the broad-based dips, but there are a lot of trails where the slope is steep enough that broad-based dips just won't work.
The green part on the end acts as a support so it doesn't flop backwards.
