Hello All- I have no problem with the proper service intervals for the engine on my log splitter (free-standing), but don't know the "rules of thumb" for when to change the hydraulic fluid, the filter, etc. I want to ensure long implement life, but don't want to dispose of still useful fluid! Thanks for the help. Frank

If you have a filter on the unit, I'd just change it every year and only change the fluid it it got contaminated with moisture. If no filter, I'd change it every 200 hours or so.
