Long Agribusiness DTC250 won't start after PTO bind

I was running the brush hog and I went over a tree that was a little too big and it bound up the blades and stopped everything. I thought it would have broke the sheer pin but it didn't. I immediately went to start it back up and there was nothing. No crank, no noise from the starter anything. I thought it was the negative ground and found it was loose. I replaced the negative cable and still nothing. I checked that the engine is not locked up. I got the tree out from the blades and spun the PTO shaft. I still don't have any crank. I do get power to the dash and to the PTO switch but nothing when I try and start it.

I don't know that tractor, but possibly could it have a PTO controller that isn't sensing that the PTO is off?

That's my thought as well. The tag says LT 280D. The engine cover says 250 DTC.

Will it accept an analyzer? If so, see if you can clear any codes.

Don’t know your tractor, but are there other safety cutoff features other than on the pto? For example, on the seat, gears, etc?

There is a clutch safety switch and there isn't a computer on this tractor. There isn't a seat switch either.
