I started it. I injured my bloody lower rib - got smacked with a large iron bark branch which collected my ribs on its way out of the ute the other day. Still sore. Can't work. I am on light duties for the next week or so.
Sharp pain means torn muscle or cartilage. It was an almighty smack that's for sure.

I've been roofing a small shed/garage the past week. Wearing shorts because it was so hot. My legs got torn up pretty well. Sent a photo to my daughters. They asked if it was the first time I tried to shave my legs?

After I was done roofing I thought it would feel good to jump in the pool to cool off. The chlorine on the open cuts and abrasions was exquisite.

Buddy let his girlfriend talk him into getting his back waxed. He was pretty stocky and strong.

He laid down on the table. Table had hand holds, so he grabbed the handles.

Little oriental lady applied the wax to his back. Laid down one of them strips. Worked into the wax really good.

Then gave it a yank

He screamed like a little girl (high pitched, split your ear drums) and bent the handles

Little oriental women lit into him for being a baby and breaking her table

His girlfriend got it on video and showed us at the bar that night

Every thread goes off the rails, this one from hair to hang nails.
Speaking of which () as a teenager I cut my toenails with dykes (side cutters if dykes is blocked). I had a big toe hang nail so I cut it close to edge then with needle nose pliers ripped it off. Of course it got infected and swelled twice the size. I cut the end out of old tennis shoes the pain was so bad.
Finally I sterilized a sewing needle to puncture it...but when I touched it the needle just fell in! I couldn't believe so much pus! I soaked it in peroxide and it healed fine.
I thought Moss would enjoy the story.
