Your garden is sure looking healthy and I am jealous of your flat spot and soil.:thumbsup: Blueriver, you may not be a "wide body" like myself,
but those corn rows sure look close together. I'd have to turn sideways to walk down those rows to apply insecticide or hand cultivate my corn.

May not .. it seems as thought daily I add a little to the load!! Dr. said to loose weight and watch the Cholesterol.
I use the JD 2 row on 30" centers and a 2 row culitvator as well as the 23 point sprayer for the insecticide!!

It must be an optical illusion or something. I would have said those rows were just 18" apart. 30" is plenty wide, and besides, closer spacing will ensure good pollenation.:thumbsup:

Our forecast for today is a 20% chance, so I mowed, edged, trimmed, and fertilized and now have a sprinkler running. I'm not going to "thoroughly" water the yard and will hope for some rain today or tomorrow.:laughing:
