I think they have known Man Made Global Warming was a lie for a very long time, that's why they tried to change the name of it to Climate Change. This way they can blame anything that happens on human activity and then create a new tax to save us from it.
What I've always wondered is if the planet is getting too hot, or too cold, what is the ideal temperature that we are shooting for? There is also a HUGE vacuum on what are the pros and cons for higher temperatures. They have given us quite a list of all the terrible things that will happen with warmer temperatures, but fail to mention anything positive. Will dry areas get more rain because more water is evaporated into the atmosphere? Will farmers be able to plant second crops in areas that have seasons too short for more then one crop? Will we use less fossil fuel to heat our homes and buildings and have fewer people die from frozen conditions?
Like previously mentioned, I feel it's just a scam to get money from the government. Just come up with junk science that supports what the politicians want, and they give you money to do more phony research to prove them correct.

The "believers" are simply saying this is "cherry picked" evidence.
They are then cherry picking evidence, to make the case that this, and the lack of any real warming for the last 15 years, doesn't mean a thing.
Meanwhile, none of the computers models used to project their dire warnings of a coming Armageddon due to man made global warming, predicted any of this.
