I don't have any answers and am more guilty than most when it comes to owning and using large internal combustion engines, and really do like my muscle cars and tractors

I also am hoping to visit Glacier National Park -BEFORE there is no Glacier


Hope the people that say this is all bunk are right, and there is nothing to worry about-
and in 40 years the environment is not degraded from where it is now....
I really do hope they are right, - that man can't affect the planets environment.

but NASA and the National Academies of Science give me more than a little pause...

Fixed it for ya. It's a contributing factor but not THE cause by and stretch of the imagination.

Global climate is real and indisputable, etc.

What is not known is exactly how much human pollution has contributed, and how much is part of the normal warming/cooling cycles and time periods that Earth has experienced since birth.

Half the people believe there is no human affect on climate, the other half seem to believe we've doomed ourselves from pollution and are stockpiling ammo and rubber rafts in their basements. Both sides know they are right. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

It's not time to give up and pray for the earth, but we definitely need to continue reducing pollution and making positive impacts such as reforestation. The science is not that complicated, it's when idiots hit the Jump to Conclusions mat that we run into problems.

Hey I am not saying that present day humans aren't contributing but the narrative is that we are the sole reason. Love someone to answer my question about the cause of the last couple of warming trends? It wasn't the internal combustion engine, coal burning, or aerosols. Just saying...

Do visit Glacier National Park in Canada and make the drive up to Jasper. Climb up on the glaciers! Yes they are receding so now is the time. As least for you and me. One of my most memorable camping trips. Thanks for prompting me to go back and look at all the beautiful pictures we took on our excursions.

I do within my means. I installed 20 kW PV system on my farm. Generating about 30% more electricity than we use. If we buy electric car I will add another 8 to 10 kW to it.
