Price Check Look what I found! L price list & options

That list is interesting. I bought my L4400 two years ago and I paid only about a thousand more for the tractor AND loader than what they list for just the tractor!

Have prices gone up that much in 2 years?!?

That pdf is all the list prices. Thats not dealer cost. They provide those too all the states along with a discount percentage so that they can calculate state contract prices.

I'd be nice if Kubota provided so much information on their website. Even if they left the prices off, the PDF I provided a link to is much more informative than either the specification PDF or the features PDF on www.kubota.com.

While you're here I have a favor to ask you! Can you tell me what the ground speed would be for a GL3240 FST with a creeper gear installed? The spec PDF for the GL3130 lists the ground speeds for the FST as 1, 1.4, 2.3, 3.4, 4.9, 6.9, 11.2 and 16.5. I know the creeper will add 4 more speeds but I'd like to know what those speeds are. The spec PDF for the GL3240 doesn't detail ground speeds at all.

I'm really happy that Kubota now offers a creeper option with the FST trans! Nobody else does (that I know of) in this class of tractor .

I bought mine in Lena WI, I was working near there at the time & they gave me a better price than the Marquette dealer. I really have never heard anything about the Marquette dealer. However, there was someone on this forum site from the UP that had a terrible dealer experience where they bought their tractor and utility vehicle. Problem is they never mentioned who they dealt with.

I realze that. What I'm saying is that what I paid for my L4400 (minus the loader) was nearly 2 grand less than the list price on that PDF.

I just purchased a new L3240 and the list prices from the sheet were $24220 with the $75 labor to install the rear remotes, I paid $20900 so I got about 14% off of list plus the dealer thru in a complete set of filters for the 50 hr change, 2 tubes for grease, 2 bottles of HDT fluid and a hat

Its comming. I thought they would have it out by now, but I know they are working on it.

I've seen a few of these posted around the net but it's always nice to see an up to date copy. As someone who also see lots of snow a front mount blower is a must to me, unless your driveway is straight I would suggest you think about it too.

I've asked a few dealers if a mid mount PTO is an option on the L series, looking at that list it's only an option on the grand L's. One of the reasons why I'm looking at the 7800/ 3030 is because my dealer told me that it wasn't offered on the L, I never thought to ask about the Grand L though. Guess now I have another option, do I spend a little more for the 3130 and get a compairable tractor (HP wise) that weights a little more.

I was sold on getting a L3400 HST and an Erskine front mount blower but a recent thread convinced me to go with an independent PTO rather than the live-continous the economy L has. Anyhow, Erskine is an old firm that makes commercial quality front mount blowers that are driven off the rear PTO. Skid Steer Attachments - Erskine Attachments, Inc. so you don't have to have a tractor with a mid-PTO to have a front blower.

For my purposes I'm leaning towards a GL3240. It has an independent PTO, good size, a gear trans with a creeper gear option (I prefer a gear to HST), and a mid-PTO option. The Kubota blower that goes with the GL3240 is a good size too ... 62" wide, 24" fan and 27" tall which is quite a bit bigger than the blower for the B3030.
