I found this old Ford in the corner of my pasture Sunday. I called the sheriffs office but no tractors have been reported stolen. Called all the neighbors I can think of also. The battery is missing and it's out of gas.

If no one claims it, I guess it's mine? What model is it?

Someone has changed out the gen for an alt. Could be a 2N, 9N or 8N.

I'm thinking 8 or 9N. The 2's didn't have floorboards, just pegs, right?

The best I can say is it was left there between Saturday evening and Sunday evening.

By the serial number, it's an 8N.

9N/2N/8N? According to this page it is an 8N. There seem to be lots of those old Fords. All together they must have done tons of work in their lifetimes and there are still lots of them working.
