Congrats Tom. I wish I could get the hours on mine, darn rain...

I hear that!! It has been raining like crazy here and on top of that I got a staff infection on my neck so no playing with the tractor right now either way.. oh well at least it is sitting in the garage all dry, etc... I'm still ins little shock over just seeing it here!!!! My rear blade from everything attachments didn't show up yet either, they said half of the terminal collapsed in the storms... (Yellow Trucking) So I will probably get it Monday. Let me tell you that my driveway is a disaster from getting washed out!!!!! I hope the blade shows up and I hope it's not damaged.....

I got my mowing in yesterday and glad I did it is raining and 45 outside. I'm sure this will all blow your way. Sorry to hear about the infection hope you recover quick as that tractor needs some exercise too.

Well I did get out today sore neck and all and worked on the driveway for about 4 hours today, scooped out a much needed ditch and took some high spots off and dragged it with my steel beams. Let's just say she got a good workout today and muddy!!!

Congrats Tom, I know it was a difficult wait but well worth it by the sound of things! That toothbar looks great - I can foresee a tremendous amount of fun - I mean WORK - in your future with that! :thumbsup:

I already scooped out a 100' ditch for.some water control along my drive way!! The toothbars are a nice tool!!!!

Well maybe if I am feeling up to it this weekend I will be able to cut the grass for the 1st time with the new tractor. I have been in the hospital since Sunday with this infection on my neck, now I get to go home with a 3 1/2" open cut on my neck that has to heal from the inside out... Oh what fun!!!!!

Seems SUPPOSEDLY,Saturday is going to be the best day. We western Pa'ers will have to make the best of it. I didn't have a choice last Sunday.When it quit for those 4 hours in the afternoon,I just had cut the old pasture. What a sloppy mess that was,but I had to do it or it would be out of control right about now. Cuttin' water....yeah,that's the ticket.
I'll bet when I was done the deck weighed 600 lbs with all the built up wet grass all over it. Took me 2 hours just to clean the darn thing.

Greg with all the IV antibiotics I was on nothing should bother me but yes I will be very careful!!!! I have to remove the FEL for the 1st time and hook up the mower for the 1st time so hopefully everything goes good!!! Might even cut it Friday since I'm off work right now.... The work I have done with the driveway has made an unbelievable difference, with all the rain it has barely washed out and I still have a bunch I want to do to it!

Once you do it a few times,it will be a breeze.
When you drive over the deck,just make sure the wheels are released so the deck itself is sitting on the ground. Also when you have driven the mower linkage into the deck brackets,leave the deck on the ground. It makes engaging the J pins and the front bracket a snap to install. It also gives you the most room for attaching the driveshaft. Remember to push (unlock) the driveshaft collar by pushing it towards the deck. You will fight the connection if you forget to do that.
Hopefully I won't confuse you with my explanations.
