New Holland dealers will work on fords?

If you are interested in the Ford take a look for stress cracks where the front axle is welded to the frame. I had a 1310 and the front axle came OFF the tractor when these welds failed. Easy keeping nose of tractor off ground but sure hard to drive anywhere.

Those are SCUT for sure.. not CUT.

really close on hp.. 1 hp either way.

the ford will have about 9% more 3pt lift capacity.

either COULD have live pto, depends.

I can't talk about the parts on the cih/mitsubishi.. but I know some front end parts for scut fords are harder to find than larger models.

cih could be 86-90 I believe, and the ford 20 series is somehting like 87 thru late 98

which one is in better condition?

go look up a front drive shaft for each and see if either are available?

how are the prices in comparison?

ford sn is on the trans bellhousing aft of the starter if you want to get the date.. see which is newer.. etc..

check trans type for both..

An International 245 is not a SCUT. It's a CUT for sure. It is the size of the old B series Kubota at least.

Sound guy has his own standards as to which is which!

It's amazing as to where the horsepower has gone in the last thirty years!!!!!

Sometimes its best to go by tire sizes, but years ago even garden tractors had bigger tires!

I was just going by machine sizes. to me.. if it's rider lawnmower sized.. it's a scut. if it needs a 16' trailer to move it.. it's cut.. ut and up from there :)
