would this ford be a replacement for the 5235?

Yes but it won't be doing half the work the 5325 was bought for. It'll just be pulling around a 6' disk and a 6' bush hog. Maybe get a rear swing blade with it. This tractor will stay at my house while my others are down at the farm and way way too big to be used for anything like small jobs.

How important is power steering and a rear remote? I'd lean towards the 3600 and just add a remote or two to it. The 3000 on tractor house has a remote but no power steering.

That's what I liked about the 3600, not only does it look clean but it has power steering. Don't really need a rear remote as I'd never use it on this tractor.

I don't see how you can go wrong with that 3600 assuming it's relatively close to the pictures/description. They're a very solid machine and you can get virtually any part for it from a number of sources. I'd much rather have a solid, clean machine in original condition than one somebody else put a lot of work in to fix up...you just never know how well they did the work.

I can tell by looking closely at the pics that even if it was ever painted it was done professionally and not some spray can job. If you look close you can see the various stickers on the tractor and even the warning sticker on the seat. I'm waiting on them to get back to me with a few questions I had about it that I forgot to ask. The real headache is getting a shipper lined up who in comfortable with and will do it for a reasonable rate.
