Just looked on the Kioti website and Oct 1 - Dec 31st they have the free loader program and the DKSE is listed. Also under the cash program it lists up to $5300 on the DKSE when a loader and backhoe is purchased. Since Im not looking at a backhoe and the loader thing going do you think I could lower pricing or stay where Im at. Thanks.

What tractor are you looking at? I ask cause your 5' implements will be too small.

I think you said he wanted $850 for forks. You can buy them from Titan or other places for $200 less than that with free shipping. So don't think that if he throws them in on the deal that your getting an $850 value.

If a dealer charges for loading tires, that usually costs 300-600 depending on tire size. If he'll do that for the deal that's good. I filled my own and it's a time consuming job.

Hooks are cheap and I welded my own on. Just make sure the top of the bucket is reinforced to hold the hooks.

The Factory Service manual for my tractor was $120. My parts manual was a free download.

I also think your 5' implements will be too small for a DK45SE. I sold all my 5' implements when I bought my LS XR3037HC because they were too small. Rear tire track on my tractor is 66". I'm sure the DK is at least that wide.

You can try to barter all you want. Maybe you'll get a good deal. Whatever makes you happy is what counts. Ask the dealer about the Oct-Dec cash program before you mention your offer.

Will do. I know the 5' implements are good for my 31HP Deutz. Guess it may be implement buying time too.

If the OP wants to grow eyes in the back of his head, he could probably get by with his 5' implements. Problem with that, even with an extra set of eyes is you CAN'T even come close to using the capabilities of the tractor. If that is what he wants to do, fine, then the only thing that he has gained is loader lift capacity which is a huge thing, but it sure is nice to be able to use bigger implements, not worry about destroying the smaller implements and simply get the job done quicker.

Just my :2cents:

What I bushhog is just pasture and its maintained well. Beyond that I am currently doing dirtwork for our shop but that is on hold til I borrow or get my own tractor with a fel. I have been using my dad in laws but he needs his too. Other than the shop building I think my implements will be ok. My disc and my grader blade, even though they are 5' are very well built and heavy. The bushhog I can see upgrading to a 6' but IMO its not something I need to rush out and buy day one. I can see upgrading to a larger box blade but still thats not necessarily a day one upgrade either. Just having lift capacity will greatly improve what I am currently doing. Again I appreciate all the feedback. Besides I can still mow fairly quickly with the Deutz as the area I mow isnt all that large. Down the road I do see many options available for having a larger tractor and will focus on them as they come. Right now the bucket and forks will do just fine.

5' implements are indeed small but hardly unworkable in the short term. I have a medium duty Woods Brush Bull 600 that I run on my DK40 and use it specifically for areas that are too rough for my 6ft flail or where there is unknown debris. If I was trying to mow five acres of well groomed field with it, I'd be pissed and wanting to upgrade to six or seven feet ASAP, but as I use it more for special purposes, it is fine. And, it was almost new on Craigslist for $900. I keep my eye out for a six foot medium duty bush hog in good condition from a good manufacturer but haven't seen anything for less than $1500 in two years. So the five foot Brush Bull is still part of the team (Fullback: used for short yardage!)

I also purchased a WRLong medium duty 4n1 bucket for cheap money via eBay after stumbling on it. Got it for $500 plus shipping and it came with a diverter valve too. It is only 60 inches. No problem at all. The standard 72" bucket is always preferred for moving large amounts of loose material anyway so the 4n1 is a special purpose tool. I tend to use it when I have my backhoe mounted and hunting stumps as it allows me to lift and move the stump and then smooth out the area without needing to go back to the barn to change implements. A six foot 4n1 would be no particular advantage in that setting.

Point is simply that you can keep your five foot implements until time, economics and opportunity are such that an upgrade makes sense.

I have a 4 ft KK rotary cutter, and it is fine behind my DK35se for what I do with it.. Just trim cut brush around my property.. Now if I was mowing a field... well, it would suck. I use my 5 ft blade all the time, and I wish it was larger, but it works.
