Dex3361 has the plan I'd follow.
Also, look around the owner's place and see what kind of soil he has.
Sandy soil will wear tines quickly without doing much else bad.
Soil with lots of big cobbles might be another story ...
If you do get it, don't forget to adjust the slip cluth before you use it.
