Buying Advice looking at buying John Deere 4044r cab with H180 loader

I have the 4066r, and i like it a lot. I had a lot of problems with my 4520, so far so good on this one.

I know I'm late to this conversation, and you may have already made your decision. I have a JD 4044R with almost every option / add-on that you can get with this tractor. I use it for moving large round bales, 1 ton bundles of horse feed, arena work, and most everything that one can imagine. I've had now for 5 months and the only thing it has not been able to handle is picking up the front end of my horse trailer which has a tonge weights of 4,200, ;( . Not bad for this "Utility Tractor" I have allowed the local dealer use it as a display model on numerous occasions and as a result they have made several additional sales, even they had no idea what this tractor was capable of. Don't hesitate to shoot me a private note if you have further question just in case you have not made a purchase yet.

Seems this thread might be in need of livening up. I'm new here. We are also looking at the John Deere 4044r to help us with trail work. This past summer we rented a compact TYM with 35hp and got so darn much work done with it, we decided we needed to have something permanently in our possession for future assistance. We had a back blade with it and scrapped up gravel to be to moved to a bridge site. We loaded it into a trailer that was towed by a UTV and we moved more than 3 tons per hour. (actual number not known, just a guess) We also leveled trails, moved trees and made appropriate drainage, etc, etc with it. I'm from agriculture, but these little tractors are a new item to me and was surprised of all the work we could do. If or when we get our own, we'll also purchase a rough cut 3 point rotary mower, post hole auger and a backhoe. I should add that we have a nearby JD dealer.

If anyone has any suggestions or reviews of the 4044r, of course we'd love to hear them.
