Dealers every 30 miles would be nice. There are only two kubota dealers that I know of in Alaska. There are alot of Kubota tractors up here so that says something for Kubota.
Our LS dealer is the only tractor dealership up here that answers phone calls on the weekends and opens his doors late at night if you need something in a pinch. He is moving LS tractors all over the state and tractors up here get used all year, 24/7, sun or snow. Kubota has proven their ability up here and in the last few years LS has been doing the same.
Both solid tractors, but LS was the better deal for me.
As far as tractors go they are like trucks. Ford's, Chevy/GMC, Dodge will all pull an equipment trailer when properly equipped, but each has it's unique benefits. My Duramax, in my opinion, is the best rig out there, but I have buddies with Cummins and Powerstrokes who would rather push theirs than drive mine.
Fortunately we live in a country where we have the freedom to choose where, when and what kind of tractors we buy. Contrary to what the current condition of our country looks like, I hope we stay that way and have the ability to pass this freedom on to our children and grandchildren.
