looking at goosenecks and hay hauling....need help please.

I have some friends w/ a small 'dozer they haul behind a 1 ton w/ a 22,5 Big Tex trailer. The first time they tried to load the dozer w/ a wet deck, one track slipped, the dozer turned 90 degrees sideways and slid off the back of the trailer. No damage and no injuries. But they did take some measurements and weld some "cleats" on the trailer to give the tracks something to grab on the way up the ramps.

Thats what i did on my other trailer with a dove tail. I did load the Fecon on it for the first time today. it was real muddy, but the machine went up and tilted with no problems. Any idea how your friend made the cleats. If I have to do this I want it to look good and professional, this is a $12,000.00 trailer and it looks great

If its not to late I would go for the 14ply Load range G tires as I have them on my trailer w/ 8k dextors & have more than once overloaded & drove to fast & the tires never got hot (Nocking on wood)
