Looking at L4330 Model Tractors

Consider also that the L4330 is pre-emissions- a major plus for many potential buyers. I had an L3130, with 10 less HP but otherwise similar, IRRC, and although it wasn't as fast, it was very capable and could lift like a champ. I think you'll find Kubota to be very well engineered and constructed, and satisfying to own. That's a Grand L series tractor, loaded with useful features. Find a clean used one, take care of it, and it's like money in the bank.

Thank you for your insights. I am looking at a few variations of Kubota "30" style tractors in both cab and non-cab options. Each has positive and negative aspects. One cab model (500 miles away) lacks a rear remote....but the Kubota model with rear remotes lacks the cab (100 miles away). It seems the cab is adding about 5K to the price.

Yep- with a bit of work, you can add rear hydraulics for under $1000- much less than a cab!

I appreciate all the advice and decided to go with a cab model tractor as many suggested.

Thank you both for your posts. The picture of the L4330 in Kansas shows some style of quick attach bucket lever on the front if it, so perhaps the owner ordered it like that or converted it. He states his tractor has been owned since new and garage kept.

The neighboring farmer is older and houses his L4330 under a structure similar to a carport, so better than just being outside but inferior to a garage. He isn't known to be gentle on equipment but he doesn't seem to abuse things either. Because of a few large areas and paint trouble (like on the hood) his L4330 appears inferior to the Kubota in Kansas.

I anticipated (perhaps hoped) L4330 models would fall in the 16K-18K range for the non-cab options, but several sellers list near 20K. Apparently used prices are high right now, but with selling of a Yanmar that will at least recoup some of the funds. One can also offer less than the asking price, like most buyers.
In today’s market it would be difficult to buy at less than asking price.

You were very close to being correct. The dealer only reduced the selling price by $900 on a cash purchase, but he had the L4330 cab model priced at a fair value.
