Do the windows on the doors open so if the weather is nice, you can get fresh air?

I have a '09 5600 but the cab is the same as on the 5610. All 4 windows open, the rears can be opened all the way around (forward) and be held open. The doors don't have any mechanism to keep them open, but if you have a cab, then you also have AC if you need it.

...and if you don't mind the dust, the doors are very easy to remove. In the summer, I tend to be in and out of the cab A LOT and the door just gets in my way. Note: The doors are relatively heavy.

Any idea how much the extended warranty runs on these things? Did any of you get it? Think it is worth it?

Got the 1 yr extended warranty with my 5600 "D" in 2007. **Easily** paid for itself. I don't remember the exact cost but the fact that it saved me an entire winter's worth the profit, if not more, is indelible in my memory.

I am ordering my 2011 f series 5610 Monday. Only options available from factory are tires. All other options are dealer installed. Got to check on air precleaner. I am excited about it and hope the machine can live up to my expectations. I am getting the big trac tires, combination bucket and radio. May get step later if needed. Anyone know what the lower debris guard is ? Says it comes standard with lower engine guard but lower debris guard is an option.

I checked into the lower debris gaurd before I bought my 5610. It is just a small peice of metal in a picture I saw. IMHO, it is not nearly worth the price of the thing. The bottom of the TC is well protected. I bought the step. Pricely, but it is a tall step into the TC. You can always add the step later if you desire.

If your going to mow with the front mower, strongly encourage getting the precleaner. My primary air filter remains nearly spotless with the precleaner.

I checked out the cost of the extended warranty after I bought my TC. I think you can still buy it up to 1 year after initial purchase. I thought it was quite expensive. I remember something like $1500-1800 for 1 extra year. Not worth it for the amount of hours I put on. I had a few, minor warranty issues the first year but no repairs since and I had one of the first 5610's produced.

Radman,

I saw you mentioned in another post that you had a manlift. What kind is this? Any potential for controlling machine from manlift bucket?

Radman,

I saw you mentioned in another post that you had a manlift. What kind is this? Any potential for controlling machine from manlift bucket?

Mine was a homemade lift I bought from a friend. It is a 4'x4' platform, side rails 4' high and the base sits 8' above the ground. I use my pallet forks to slip under rails at the bottom. Has a ladder to climp up the side into the platform. I paid $200 for it. Couldn't buy the metal for that. Lightweight but sturdy. Probably weighs about the same the pallet forks. Really handy when you need them. All controlled by the tractor hydraulics. It is either 2 men with operator and one in the bucket or postion where I need it and climb the latter into the lift.
I did have a genie 45' manlift for a few years. That was the ultimate to work on stuff in the air. Lift and movement all controlled from the basket. I actually traded the Genie in when I bought the TC 5610. Got what I paid for the genie 3-4 years earlier plus 20% off list for the TC and any attachments I bought for the TC. It was win in my book. The dealer wanted the genie manlift for his rental fleet. He had genie scissor lifts but no manlifts.

Thanks for all the info guys. I took the plunge and ordered my 2011 f-series 5610 today with the big tires and a combination bucket. Pre cleaner not offered as option but the dealer said he will figure something out.
