I would put a 20" bar and chain on it. It will be a much better balanced saw and turn it into a real beast.

I have the 361 and a 25" bar but run it with a 20" except when into big stuff.

I personally will never have anything BUT a pro saw. not because it sounds better, or I like to look cool but for the simple fact of weight. I have a Stihl ms260 pro and my buddy has a Stihl 290 farm boss. his saw is about 3 pounds heavier then mine and mine has more horsepower....albeit not very much. the farm boss and other homeowner models are just unnecisarily heavy for their power. lug one around all day and you will quickly see how much an extra pound or 3 makes. if i wanted to run a 22" bar I wouldn't have anything less then a 460 pro from Stihl. I would also look at other brands in close comparison to this saw. heck, my little 260 pro saw is rated to run a 20" bar but I won't run anything but a 16" bar on it. it's my only saw for now but if i ever decide to go bigger it will be a 460, 440 magnum(if i can find a good used one) or a 660.

Yep, lighter for same HP is better. I have a MS310 (homeowner) and a MS 361 (pro). Idon't know the weights on them but I can pick them up at the same time and know which hand has the 361, much lighter even with a longer bar on it.

Yes Harry I am getting a 20in bar for it. I dont need the 25 very often but when I need it, it is much better than the 18in Husky I had.

On the pro note, I looked at pro saws and everyone is right they are lighter and nice. BUT I do not earn a living with my saws I just save money on heating because of them. When i bought this saw it would have cost me 200 more to step up to a pro saw. for me that money went on an fs90 with a brush cutter blade. I dont regret it. Ya i get tired quicker with the 391 but when I do I sit it down and pick up the husky that feels even lighter in comparison. If I made a living with this saw the 200.00 would have been a no brianer. When I get tired I take a break.
