Looking for a 54" cutting deck for JD 425, 445, 455 tractor?

The nice thing about a 60" deck, if there are mounds or dips, it levels them off after hitting them a few times, then your lawn is nice and smooth :laughing::laughing:

On all my 54" decks, I've added an anti-scalp roller at the rear/center of the decks. Deere used to have such anti-scalp rollers, but quit putting them under the decks. This is shown on my X485 54C deck but same as the ones I added to my other two 54" decks.

I really like the roller you have added....it is exactly what would help on our rough ground. Is it welded or bolted to the deck?

Bolted on. Some half inch steel, with a notch to go over the deck lip, welded to a 1/4" strap. Some 1/2" rod through a couple deere rollers... kind of copying the front center roller.
