There are several places out there selling reman, used and aftermarket parts.

Just wondering if you found a cylinder head yet. I'm sure by now, you've found it's the same head used on a 4440 Ag. tractor. Found quite a few on Tractorhouse, but just used, and looks like a few have been at least magnafluxed, but not rebuilt. http://www.tractorhouse.com/list/partssearch.aspx?partnum=R61521&pst=starts

Not sure how used/rebuilt parts compared to new, whether purchased through an Ag. dealer, or Industrial/Construction, but Ag. prices are normally 10% to 20% less, for the very same part. Go figure.

Agreed. I crossed it over to most of the 4?40 series.

I have one coming truck from wengers.. i believe it was a 4840 or a 4440 head.

and yeah.. much cheaper than the JD industrial head.
