42mm is a handfull compared to 25mm that could fit in a shirt pocket. But i think the one-handed operation trumps bulky. Looks like a good deal to me. Let us know how it works after the new is worn off.

I have a 10x25 Vortex Solo that I am very impressed with 52.00 on Amazon. Waterproof nitro purged and rubber armor. Very clear and bright image ( for a 25mm) I've had it about a year no issues.

So far so good. Have only had the toy for a week but have been able to view ships, airplanes, and (ahem) people on the beach. Wish I had of got it before the college kids went home. RSKY
