My friend has a dual tandem gooseneck for sale. It's in great condition and passes DOT inspection. Selling to get a pintle hitch.

That is a really light hitch for a truck that big. My 3/4 ton has a 30k rated GN. I would get a better hitch and a heavier trailer to be able to utilize that beast of a truck's capability.

Yes, this truck is a beast. When I bought it I did not do what I should have done which is bring it to a mechanic for a DOT level inspection. The previous owner was 'proud' that he was exempt from DOT roadside inspections because he was towing an RV. I should have seen that as a red flag but I didn't. Long story short I have had to put in about 5k of work getting it up to spec. It paid off on May 29th when I got pulled in for a Level 1 inspection with no violations noted. As money come in again I will work towards upgrades.

I would Try Hudson Trailers I believe they might be the best commercial Grade trailers and they also Rate there Trailers for what they carry unlike other companies where to have to subtract the weight of the Trailer
they are alittle more pricey but you get what you pay for buy cheap get cheap
