soarkrebel, thanks for the info. I did look at Fabco's website and they have what I want. I also called them and they will sell direct. Prices sounded good also. They won't take a credit card but they said they would do a COD. Have to FAX them some info but, I don't remember exactly what it was. Now that I know that New Holland uses Fabco I can use the numbers off the website. I feel like it may be easier to buy from New Holland. We'll see.

Hey ben i called them yesterday also and they said the same thing. the person i talked to was kami. she said we could figure my order and send a check (i may ask if i can send a money order).
I was shocked at the price difference between them and the new holland dealer. i think you will too. i am placing an order tuesday due to the holiday.
I am so happy with the cost i am going with 8 teeth instead of 7 .i can already picture it in my mind. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

soarkrebel, sounds like I may as well not waste any time with a New Holland dealer. I also was quite pleased with the price. I was looking at the 16S7-8-3C adapter and the 8003C in the 3C series. For that price I'll build my own. If I can build a cab I can build a toothbar. Thanks

I just purchased 6 teeth from Fabco. Kami took the order. Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of buying one from local dealer and am so glad I didn't. Saved a bundle and will have some left over after purchase of welder.

Hey soarkrebel, Just got my teeth in from Fabco, I order number 16S7-8-3C for the adaptors, only problem is they aren't drilled, arg.... did yours come pre-drilled? How did you drill them if not? Looks like pretty hard steel to me. I have a drill press but it might take some time.

Sevencorners from the catalog the shanks,16s7-8-3c, you ordered are for crimp on teeth. so they won't have a hole for a roll pin.

I am using a 1s7-8-23 which are for a pin on tooth.

Yeah it might take a while to drill them? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Perfect - I was wondering if you had the part numbers for those shanks and teeth and what NH dealer in the St. Louis area had them. I am planning on making a toothbar this weekend and wanted to pick some up at that price you can't beat it. Anyway I am in the St. Louis area and would like to get the parts

( I just built one for my FEL about a month ago. I went to a few places around here but was only able to find the teeth and shankes at a NH dealer. The shankes ran me ~$4.50/ea. and the teeth were $2.79/ea. They were a little smaller (like 1 3/4" wide), but I couldn't come anywhere the price on anything else. Between the teeth and the 3/8" steel, I think I have less than $60 invested (including grade 8 bolts to hold it on). My neighbor came over when I was getting ready to install it and asked me where I bought it because he wanted one for his tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

SevenCorners why not run a short bead on each side (top & bottom) to hold the teeth in place on the shanks. It's got to be easier on you than drilling and when it comes time to change them simply use an angle grinder to cut the bead.
