Looking for a Tractor

This is my 1st post. I live in Central / Western NY and will be retiring the end of July. I have 20 acres with a mix of woods and fields. I have been looking to buy a tractor. Attachments I've been looking at are a loader, bush hog, backhoe and york rake.
I have looked at many tractors in the 27 - 35hp range and have received alot of good information from dealers and private sales.
The best info I have received is from the tractorbynet forums. As I get closer to deciding the projects I want to do and the tractor and attachments I'll be asking alot more questions. I want to thank you all for your questions and info. It is a great help in making my decision. Joe

make a list of your needs, budget, and describe your terraine.

decide how much, if any, wrench turning you like, then start posting.

your options are everything from antiques to brand new, and everything in between. from new with warranty, to needs a lil tsc to run. vs good working very used and up..

remember that dealer support can be worth as much as a few bucks of price.. if buying new or new-used from a delaer and one gave me warm fuzzy feelings vs another that was a couple hundred cheaper.. go with the warm fuzzy..
