Looking for Amish syle Tractor wheels

I agree with GeneD14 that foam would be a good option with the added benifit that the foam weighs more and thus you've filled your tires as well as making them bullit proof.

I also agree that the Mennonite wheels would not be a good idea here. They would likely clog with debris and chunks of rock and wood. Still, they look cool.

Most steel tractor wheels looked like the one's in the atchment. Most were wider. Some had full width cross lugs set at an angle. [ much like grousers on tracked machines. The front steering wheels usually had a center rigdge that cut into the ground.

Note: the attchment is a model.

So do the Amish have some truck with rubber tires? I thought the steel wheels were produced during ww11 to save rubber.

Lots of early tractors had steel wheels. There were no decent rubber tire designs till the late 30's. That's when AC started using a rubber tire.

Rubber tires worked well, saved fuel and rode better. But WWII came so soon that they kept steel around to save rubber for war production stuff.
