Looking for an old junk fifth wheel camper trailer.

I am looking for an old "junk" fifth wheel camper trailer for a specific purpose built trailer project. Needs to be a 24 to 30 foot version. Would also prefer to keep the distance to less than 200 miles of travel from Frankfort, KY if possible. Frame rot and neglected bearings would eliminate a potential purchase just as an unrealistic price would. If you know of one that is available, I'd like to know where it is, all information I can get about it and contact information for the owner.

No, this is not intended for heavy duty hauling but a specific purpose. 3500 lb. tandem axle would work for my intended use. Thanks in advance.

Peirot Fest? Never heard of it. Nope, just a specific purpose trailer. Needs to be light weight, tandem axle and a fifth wheel that I will convert to a gooseneck.

Precisely why I asked here. Did a similar project a few years ago and got a similar trailer almost free. I did say almost. The previous owner wanted it gone, lock stock and barrel. So, I lucked out on that deal. But, I had to strip and dispose of every thing from the frame up. The same will be true of this special purpose trailer. One never knows if one doesn't ask. So, there really isn't a maximum dollar value for this project but, I have to be convinced I'm getting a fair deal. No where near $2K though.

About 26 foot long, no idea on wheel bearings but they were fine 3 years ago when I moved it next to the barn. Frame appears to be good, body of the camper is poor. I got it with the same intentions you have, just never found the time to do it.
I'm about 45 miles North of you.
I'd take in the neighborhood of $700 for it.
