That's the part I've got that photo. Messicks has been in contact with them and they can advise of the new part number but are not allowing orders for it yet since they haven't located a supplier.

Looks like the same shaft as on a 1520. Some yards list tractors being disassembled and not individual parts. Ask for 1520 and 1920 models and send diagram by text or email. Strange the 1720 is not listed in CNH parts lookup as being the same. Maybe newer numbers haven't been updated or different for some reason.

I have called most of those listed but so far no luck. I will try to check the few with 1520s advertised. I starting to think this shaft may ne the 1920's Achilles heel.

Just in case anybody else needs this upper PTO shaft, Weaver's Compact Tractor had some made. about a 2 thirds less that the Ford/New Holland part is listed for. Works great.
