Update on the tractor. I went to the repair shop yesterday and told them what had happened once I got it home. They said that it sounded like it needed another engine. Since that engine is no longer manufactured, they would be forced to buy a used one in unknown condition. They estimated it to be $5-10K. Once I told them that the PTO was hydraulic, then they said that could be mucho bucks as well. Their advice was to cut my losses and buy another tractor. So that is what I am doing now. Thanks to all for your comments.

Update on my tractor situation. I ended up buying a Kioti RX7320 cab tractor, almost identical to what Kapper at Kapper Outdoors on YouTube purchased. I just took delivery earlier today. Before putting it to work, I decided to ensure all of the bolts were tight, all grease fittings were greased, and all the fluids at their proper level. I quickly learned that my current grease gun coupler will not fit any of the grease fittings! The fittings are too large for the coupler. It is a Lock-N-Lube coupler. I will be looking at the Kioti and general forums to see if anyone else has(had) this problem and how they solved it. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to comment.

I keep looking for the "Smart Move" emoji but haven't been able to locate it yet.

Your saga won't be over though until we see some pics.

Fairly big, I would say, but not as big as I wished, which I will explain in a moment. I discovered that my original grease gun coupler would fit the grease fittings (zerks), so I managed to get the tractor greased. I will miss using my Lock-N-Lube because I expect there will come a time when I will be unable to remove the original coupler from a fitting without prying it off (the reason I bought the Lock-N-Lube in the first place). The reason that my smile is not as big as it could be is that I discovered that the 3rd function valve that they installed is really a diverter valve. Currently I am unable to operate my grapple. I got to looking more closely at the hose connections for the grapple and it appears that there is a diverter valve to which they connect, and there is not a separate set of hydraulic lines coming from the tractor. My previous (now deceased) tractor had an independent 3rd function valve, but the new tractor has only a diverter valve. Had I known that from the beginning, I would not be so disappointed. But once I am able to actually get to use the tractor, I am sure that I will love it.
