Title pretty much says it all. I may have a line on a new 7 ft landscape rake, locally, that has suffered some water damage. I'm looking for something solid enough to handle the softball+ size rocks that grow every year in my food plots.

Apparently, the frame tubing had gotten some water in it and froze causing a bulge and a crack. Nothing that a pass with a buzz box won't cure. Looking at a price around 50% off.

Looking for something tougher than those sold at TSC, but not willing to pay for a new York rake.

Any pricing or quality/durability input you have would be welcome.

Don't under estimate TSC's KK landscape rake. I have a 72" and work the lleh out of it. I had a new 3pth York rake that wasn't worth the space it took up. Tines straightened out and the dealer wouldn't do a thing about replacing the tines under warantee. Use the KK in the same application and holding up GREAT! !
KK is a good line of equipment, i have several pieces and very satisfied, good price and good job done by the equipment . . .John

Jpm,

My neighbor has a KK from TSC. He is a little hard on equipment. I just talked to him tonight. He said that he has busted a few tines on his 6 ft KK and is unable to get replacements.

Have you ever had to get any replacement parts for yours, and if so how did you make out?

I think the KK rake TSC sold in the past was better than the county-line brand of rake they currently are selling most places. I've seen several pics here at TBN of the countyline rakes bent. The KK rake had a fairly substantial piece of right-angle-iron for its main beam. KK also makes a heavier-duty version, which appears even more substantial, but at not much higher cost. Just not typically stocked but can be ordered or purchased online.
