Shoot! I lost $20.00 on a bet that you were, indeed, cuckoo!!! :p

Glad you found it. Let us know the prices. ;)

LOL! Never bet against a man who is an Authorized Bible Believer.

Rivco found it, and thank God, saved my sanity.

I am hoping to check prices today (Thursday) Lord willing. Got a ton of things to do, so it may have to wait for Friday or Saturday.

Hi All,
Long time no see! The PT is still running great, I just have not made the forums a priority for a long while.

As for the pole building it was b/w $2000 and $2500. A few things to know about it was that it was designed with cost in mind, meaning material costs drove some of the dimensions. For example I asked the local Carter lumber what was the cheapest trusses I could buy. They said 24', anything smaller was actually more because of it being special order.

So I basically decided to build a 24' x 24' pavillion then I would box in a 16' x 16' corner of that which gave me an 8' "porch" in front (which actually looked good and would keep rain and snow off my head while fiddling with the doors) and on the opposite gable end of the enclosure I have 8'x24' of "pavilion" to put a picnic table under. Also, since the T1-11 was a decent chunk of the price the smaller enclosure helped reduce the cost. Down the road I could enclose more if I need to expand this building without the added costs of roofing.

Most likely though I'd just build another shed/pole building somewhere else on the property with it's usage in mind. This one was meant to be a tractor garage next to the drive for easy winter access for plowing and such. If, for example, I find gardening items taking up too much space in there I'd build something specifically for gardening items and it could sit far from the drive with winter access not being an issue.

All in all I'm very happy with it but will be more happy when I finish it. :p Still needs the 4th wall (where the doors are) and the gable end above the "pavilion" area and also trim. Not much time left to finish and I already have all the material other than door hinges. It just needs to become a priority which will be soon.

Please do not use 1/2 inch sheeting material for the roof it is on 2 foot center. I have used it in the past and it has a tendency to sag after a year or two of snowfall. Pay the extra money for 5/8 material. You will not be sorry.

I have seen that on several houses. You can look at it and easily see the sag. There is a clip you can use that goes between the sheets and is supposed to help. I have seen this in the south, so it may happen even without much snow.
